ATD San Antonio has developed a set of strategic goals which are used to inform chapter decisions and processes. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the chapter meets the intent of these goals to best serve our membership and the larger constituency of learning and development professionals.

2014-2015 Strategic Goals

  • Strengthen the quality of programs (monthly; SIGs, conferences)
  • Host the annual Learning & Performance Summit Conference
  • Incorporate ATD Competencies into the annual conference
  • Promote the Power Membership Campaign
  • Promote ATD Certification Programs
  • Expand programs for 2015 to include evaluation (ROI), performance management, knowledge management, coaching and change management topics.
  • Develop and implement surveys to gather member and guest feedback and implement.
  • Create and staff volunteer committees for membership/retention, programs/conference and communication/marketing.
  • Develop and implement quarterly professional member and organization recognition programs.
  • Complete re-branding by December 31, 2014.
